I have an article due for the local Mensa newsletter, tonight. I still don't have a topic. I need suggestions. It can be related to March, spring, or just interesting.

Facebook retracts claim to users data
Under fire from tens of thousands of its users, the social networking site Facebook said it is reverting to its old policy on user information. "Your content belongs to you," said company spokesman Barry Schnitt. Facebook sparked a content-rights battle after revealing it was granting itself permanent rights to users' photos, wall posts and other information.
After their privacy policy fiasco, and now this... you don't think they will try to find another way to take advantage of users? By comparison LJ is a paragon of virtue. And that's sad, because LJ is no saint.

I left work today and crossed the bridge from the building I teach in to the garage where my car was parked.
In that space of time I went from dry to so wet it was liked I'd stood in a shower for two minutes. I was worried about my high tech, but I think it survived. And the sleet hitting my face hurt like hell.
I made it home, but that little walk across the street really sucked.

One of the schools I work for online send me a birthday card that said this on the front:
With a current population of 6.3 billion people, it's conceivable there are 17.4 million people inhabiting the Earth who have the very same birthday as you... give or take a few thousand. Makes you feel kind of special, doesn't it?
I laughed. (I refuse to use "LOL". I just do.)
